POSITION - Junior Office Administrator/Finance Assistant

Location Tewkesbury/Glos

We are an established Engineering Company working in the Aerospace industry and are recruiting for a flexible employee who is able to fulfil the role of Junior Administration/Finance Assistant. This is a permanent role with immediate start though we are willing to wait for the right applicant.

You will be working closely with other team members across the business; the scope of the role will encompass everything from completing routine administration tasks to some accounting tasks to assist the Finance Manager. The role requires a level of accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality. Previous experience of working with Sage would be an advantage but is not a requirement.

POSITION - CAD Design Engineer

(Ref. RES1011)

We require a Mechanical/Electro Mechanical Design Engineer in our design department due to an influx of work. You will join a small and dedicated team and be able to hit the ground running, working quickly and to the highest standard using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

Both of these packages are used heavily for design. The role requires a design engineer to have mechanical and/or electrical drawing experience. The drawings are of bespoke test equipment and unique to the client.

To be considered for this role you must have knowledge of the following:

  • Autodesk Inventor Professional
  • Detailed, layout and assembly drawings for systems design/assembly
  • 2D or 3D Modelling

POSITION - Project Buyer/Co-Ordinator

Location Tewkesbury/Glos

We are an established Engineering Company working in the Aerospace industry and are recruiting for a flexible employee who is able to fulfil the role of a project co-ordinator and buyer. This is a permanent role with an immediate start though we are willing to wait for the right applicant.

You will be working closely with other project members across the business; the scope of the role will encompass everything from buying, stock control, part organisation and control of goods in and out of the business. The role requires a high level of organisational skills, accuracy and professionalism. Previous experience of working as a buyer would be advantageous but is not a requirement.

Key qualities for this role are:

  • Previous buying experience is desired though not essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • Experience of using ERP system is desired though not essential
  • Computer skills are essential (MS Office proficient)

Duties:

  • Advance request for quotes (RFQ’s) to the engineering teams.
  • Purchase of parts from contractors and suppliers
  • Control goods in and out of the company including stock control
  • Prepare manufacturing kits of parts including technical data
  • Liaise with the Finance manager concerning parts procurement and delivery of goods
  • Select suppliers and resolve any commercial, defects and logistical issues.
